Is this a dating network? No. From time to time, we may partner with other companies and brands that are focused on dating yet our first priority is to connect people based on goals. Whether we are working with our business or personal clients our objective is to make strategic introductions that are mutually beneficial.
How will I be notified about an event? We send out email invites using constantcontact.com. Most of our events are private yet everyone is welcome at our "Project Connect" events.
What fees are associated with SocialBling membership? It is free to join SocialBling, to join fill our guest list form. To attend events you will pay a door fee from $25 - $100 depending on what amenities are offered at the events. Note: Most events will be on the lower end of the range.
Can I invite others to an event I am invited to? Yes, you can however only members are allowed at our PRIVATE events, so they will have to register before attending. Keep in mind, if we don’t have information on file for guests at our events, we can’t make introductions for them, therefore they will not receive the full benefits of SocialBling.

Who do you share my information with? The information you provide us when you register for the guest list is used to find matched interest with others in our database. Your full profile is never shared with others. See Privacy Terms below.
How do you introduce me at events? It is our goal to create the most comfortable and friendly environment. We will often introduce you by name and by stating something you have in common with other guest.
If there are celebrities at events, is it ok to go introduce myself? It is important for all of our guests to feel comfortable at our events if high-profiled guests are in attendance wait for our hosts to make the introduction on your behalf.
How do I find a SocialBling host at an event? In most cases they will find you. Look for someone making introduction, in most cases wearing a floral corsage.
I am shy will it be hard for me to meet people at these events? No, your host is there to do all the work for you.
Will I be required to wear a name tag at the event? No. If a sticker with a name on it was a successful tool to initiate a connection then we would wear them everywhere – shopping, clubbing, the gym, etc. Conversation is needed to create a connection not an awkwardly placed nametag. Remember, your host will make introductions for you, we want to you to be able to take part in conversation and not be bothered by reading a “Hello My Name is_____” sticker off someone’s chest. PS – If you can’t remember someone’s name, no need for embarrassment, ask your host.
Can I pass out business materials at SocialBling events? No. We are committed to keeping these events comfortable and fun; aggressive sales tactics are not to be used at our events.
Can I exchange business cards at events? Yes absolutely.
Can someone be asked to leave a SocialBling event? Unfortunately the answer to this question is yes. If someone is doing something that is endangering themselves or others, (i.e. excessive drinking) and/or making others uncomfortable, they will be asked to leave.
Can I pay the door fee at the event? Does it feel like a personal experience to have your name checked off a list at a door while handing this person money? We don’t think so. Therefore, we ask that door fees be prepaid. We do this because we want to free up host so they can focus on making introductions for you. It is our goal to make it feel like you are meeting up with a friend.
What happens if I can’t make an event and I prepaid for? If you can’t make an event that you prepaid for, you will receive a 50% voucher towards your next event. Send us an email after the event and we will take care of you.
Can I sneak into an event without paying and/or RSVPing? SocialBling’s hosts are professional event host, they use several methods for knowing who is in a room and who is meant to be there. If you are caught, out of respect for the integrity of our members you will not be invited to another SocialBling function.
Do you have a VIP membership program? We do not as of now but one is in development.
Can I hire a SocialBling professional host for other events? Yes. Use our contact form for more information.
How can I get SocialBling in my area? We are training new hosts all the time. We launch in areas based on signup to our guest list, so if you want to make sure SocialBling events will happen in your area, encourage friends and colleagues to sign up.
Can I make changes to my profile? Yes, send us a note using the contact form.
How do I cancel my membership with SocialBling? Send us a note via contact form and we will remove you from the database.
Terms of Privacy of Use
- We keep an email database for the following:
- To process matches and connections
- To invite you to events
- To respond to your communications (feedback, requests, questions, etc)
- To communicate services and company news
- We do not sell or share our database with outside sources.
- We do not share personal information via the internet.- Such as a name, address, telephone number, mobile number and e-mail address.
- We do make introductions in person, at which point we share a person’s name and points of personal interests and professional background. We do not provide contact information without our member's consent.
- We do collect and use aggregated information about how you use the service in comparison to how others use the service to understand trends so we can better serve our users via new products and services. In this review and use of data, individual’s identities and personal information has been removed.
- We reserve the right to change, modify, and or revise our policies at anytime, these changes will be posted to the public here.
